Structure of the Planes of Existence

The Planes of Existence once were created by Aol the Architect, placing the core of the universe "Etharis" as a construct known as the Material Plane. To this core other planes of existence were bound, securing a structure of energy, creation and magic. These Planes can be divided into the following planes:

The Anchor Plane

• The Material Plane Etharis

The Energy Planes:

• Numena, the plane of Magic

• Aether, the Etherial plane

The Parallel Planes:

• Feywild, the plane of Faerie

• Shadowfell, the plane of Shadow

The Elemental Planes:

• Stonereach, the plane of Earth

• Flamebourne, the plane of Fire

• The Endless Sea, the plane of Water

• Breezerift, the plane of Air

The Eldar Planes:

• Netherworld, the merged plane of Evil

• Celestia, the merged plane of Good

• Limbo, the plane of Chaos

• Mechanus, the plane of Order

The Structure of the Planes

The Material Plane serves an anchor and core in the astral sea, making it one of many anchored and reachable universes in this cosmos. Numera serves as a fluid and body encasing all planes of existence, while Aether connects every plane laying a thin veil over the other planes and acting as strings, binding each plane together. Closest to the Core of Etharis are the Shadowfell and the Feywild, sometimes merging with little roots reaching into the Material Plane. Between the Parallel Planes and the Eldar Planes you find the everchanging Elemental Planes, almost acting as a living organisms trying to break free from its chains and challenging to pierce into every other plane of existence. Resembling an outer shell you find the Eldar planes, only connected to the other planes by thin strings, but never reaching into them.
