The group uncovered that a kenku was responsible for the numerous mishaps occurring at the carnival. They resolved to track down the kenku to understand its motives and put an end to its actions.

Laila managed to catch the Kenku and uncovered her identity to be Kettlesteam the Kenku a warlock who had made a pact with a fey named Zybilna and wanted answers from the carnival owners. Kettlesteam agreed not to cause any more mishaps since Laila agreed to help her get information.
