Exordium - The Southern Reaches
Further south of the continent lies another region which, though once full of life, is now bone dry. The desert sprang about following the catastrophic shift of the rains to the north, leaving the South to dry up. Very little grows here but what does is hardy and holds water as precious as gold. Those who make their life here are often hardier and not very trusting of outsiders to the region. Their motto is trust no one, only the Mother Desert.
