Reflection
This spell creates an almost perfect duplicate of the spell caster. The reflection looks and acts like you, with minor imperfections in the appearance of clothing, facial expressions, and gestures. Once you dismiss your duplicate, the gained knowledge and the experienced events will be added to your memory.
Effect
Create a duplicate of yourself that performs the tasks you assign to it. The tasks can range from household activities and learning a skill to continue your life while you are on secret missions.
Side/Secondary Effects
The memory transfer can be damaged or completely broken if the duplicate remains active for too long. Also, it can become more apparent to others that this isn't yourself. If the reflection dies, you'll feel like you are dying and need to rest for at least three days up to a week in bed to recover from the pain and mental suffering. In rare cases, this can lead to lasting mental damage in the form of panic attacks and depression and even cause a split personality.
Material Components
You'll need a reflective surface, preferably a mirror, as a prerequisite, but a still-water surface, window reflection, or polished metal surface will do.
Gestures & Ritual
The spell is a short ritual in which you apply the corresponding rune with the help of a whisper brush onto or above the reflective surface while standing in front of it. Keep your place until the duplicate steps out of the reflective surface, and tell it its purpose afterward. The reflection will then carry on finishing the assigned task until you dismiss it.
Effect Duration
The effect lasts until the reflection is dismissed or died.
Effect Casting Time
5 Minutes
