Runic Marks

Runic marks are body marks that temporarily enhance specific traits or grant special abilities. In rare cases, the effect is permanent or at least long-lasting.
The body marks are carefully drawn with a whisper brush either by the person itself or by a person of trust if the mark should be located in a hardly reachable or unreachable place. The application can take several minutes up to an hour, depending on the size and intricacy of the runic mark. The mark remains potently visible for the timeframe of the effect and vanishes afterward within one to ten years.
