The Lower-Klydes Vendor Riots

The Vendor War is a well-documented incident which occured in the Lower Klydes district of Corvil on the planet of Victoriana. For most, it is an entertaining footnote in the annals of history, but for roboticists it is a cautionary tale of the potential effects of unchecked AI.

I know it's difficult for you to find the tragedy in such an absurd event, but please suppress your laughter to respect those who were trampled during the riots.

The Corvil Mayoral Council voted to uphold the outcome of the Vendor War. Eight members of the council were recused from voting due to a conflict of interest with the outcome of the vote. In the end, a majority vote of nine against three determined to uphold the status of Eff'd-Up's victory as the Eff'd-Pop vending machines had not caused any harm to life.

They were required to pay for part of the property damages.
