Rig suits are a common tool and fashion statement within the Federation, where a culture of modification and showmanship has elevated these tools to great cultural status.

First born from the Perduro Miners, who had to wear their rig for more of their day than not, the fashion trend spread outwards with the use of Rigs, until it became the cultural touchstone it is today.
