Steam Cores

Steam cores are an important power source on Jhoutai. They store a volume of gas injected via compression magic. This method invented during the Ancient Haimarchy and has existed in progressively more advanced forms since.

This technology allows Jhoutaioans to capture polluted air in their subterranean complexes, filter out the toxins, and re-use it elsewhere. While it did not save Jhoutai from pollution, it has prevented much of that pollution from being emitted as airborne. This is known as Crude Steam.

More relevant to industrial concern, however, is that these steam cores can be used as a power source, or as ordinance.
