Alchemy

In its simplest terms, alchemy is the act of combining ingredients to create something else. It is used to create anything from great elixirs and potions to bombs and monster oils. The practice of alchemy is banned in some countries, however, considered to be dangerous by the god-fearing seeing it is a perversion of creation.

It was used by some ancient alchemists to create something called the philosopher's stone which is a stone with an unending amount of essence, but the existence of such artifact is questionable.

They are many legendary creations speculated to be possible such as an elixir of immortality. Many alchemist think that it can be created by highly concentrated life essence, but none could make any to confirm their inquiries. Also, its theorized that the transmutation of metals could happen, but any lead towards this is inconclusive at best.

Potions have only one effect while draughts have two effects and elixirs can have three or more effects.
