Causes

Contact with any type of void essence. it enters the skin and starts infecting the body.

Symptoms

Darkened and paler skin accompanied by a high fever with and weakened state. It leads to stronger effects such as the loss of feeling in the extremeties and the bleaching of the eyes. Often at this point most infected people die due to weakness, but those who survive become something called the voidborn.

Treatment

Any healing magic keep the infection from spreading, but it can only be destroyed with blessings and other holy artifacts.
