Frore Pond

Watch out when the Frore Pond turns pink. It is a wonderful sight to see. It offers warmth that has not been seen in these frozen parts of Ethrosa. Enter at your own risk. The risk is great. The rewards can be equally wonderful. Rarena is full of chaos. Take heed of this warning.

It has been told that when the Frore Pond turns pink interesting things happen. It is both a bad and a good omen depending on who you are and what you have to offer. You can feed the lake goddess, Rarena, and if she likes your offering then she may grace your presence and provide you with something good or helpful. Anger her or displease her she may also grace your presence, but it will be of curse or ill-will.

A Supposed Encountering of Rarena

It was like no other. The warmth radiating from the once blue frozen pond was welcomed if confusing. The Frore Pond has always been frozen much like this waste land we live in. But when I went out to gather fish for the week it was pink and had steam rising from the water. Hesitently I reached down to plunge my hand into its depths; it was confortably warm. I immediatly stripped of my clothing and walked into its warm depths. After a moment the water ripped slighly and out came Rarena a lake goddess. She commented that it had been a long time since she was with a man if I was willing. Which of course I was as an unmarried man. It was a very delcious time. I left, without my clothes, intoxicated by everything that she was. It was only a short time later that I had found my wife. I think Rarena was my good luck charm there.
