Lady Amelia Elenasia

4376 - 4462 EA

Born on a scorching summer's day in 4376 EA, Amelia was the daughter of High Lord Elenasia Edmund Elenasia and his wife, Lady Caroline at their home in Oldcastle. She was the youngest child of three, and the only girl.   From a young age, Amelia loved walking amongst the common people with her mother, and especially visiting the orphanage her mother had set up in the town. She enjoyed playing games with the children whilst her mother took care of administration with the women who ran it day to day. Once she grew up, she took over the the role her mother had held, and continued to visit the orphanage well into her late seventies.   Amelia is most well known, however, for her love life. Unlike most noble ladies in Serukis, she never married. She was, however, romantically linked to a number of different men and women over the years. Scandalously, not all of her affairs were with other nobility, with the most infamous and long-term being with one of the poorer women who helped run the orphanage.   For most other women, this would leave them pariahs in Seruic society. Amelia, however, flourished due to her kindness, altruism, and natural charisma. Her brother, Jacoby, when he became High Lord, tried to arrange a marriage for her in an attempt to, in his words, 'calm her down.' In response, Amelia made herself scarce from the family castle for an entire month. When she was eventually brought back, Jacoby was forced to accept that she was not going to change.

I love her. You be you, Amelia. Don't let those stuffy royals try to change you. <3

It's nice of his brother to accept how she was in the end rather than still try to force her into a marriage. though I'd imagine it would not really do to bring her in chain to the altar :p

It was definitely a begrudging acceptance by Jacoby, hahaha. :D

"Scandalously, not all of her affairs were with other nobility…"   LOVE IT! I love that the scandalous part is this, and not necessarily that she was amorous overall. Lots of great story potential here!

I didn't even realize I had left a comment! I assumed I hadn't read it, since I hadn't liked her article. But turns out I had forgotten to.
