Sanctuary Castle stands in the middle of Sanctuary, the capital city of Serukis. It was designed by the architect, Cedric Burren, and took two decades to build; much of the rest of the inner city was completed before the castle itself was.
The castle is made of five wings and a central area, shaped much like a five-pointed star. Each High Lord of Serukis has his own wing, with plenty of room for his guests and staff. The central area is where the throne room is located, as well as the council chambers and great hall. The kitchens and majority of the staff quarters are also located in this central area, allowing them to service the entire castle more easily.
