Stillcross is a small mountain town in northern Kaien, which serves as a home base for those Kaienese who serve at the fortress of Everhold. Like many rural settlements in Kaien, Stillcross has a long history. Whilst official records began around two thousand years ago, evidence shows Stillcross existed in some form for some time before that.
Most notably, Stillcross was the home of the original familes that crossed from Kaien into what was then known as Vasethal, and subsequently founded Serukis. After this exodus, the town lay mostly abandoned for almost a century before it was revitalised due to the construction of Everhold in 3924 EA.
