The Fluvans

The Fluvans are the people of Fluvansii, the southernmost country on the continent of Viretia. Like most of Viretia, Fluvansii's coastline is littered with rocky, impassable reefs, whilst the country itself is cut off from the rest of the continent by dense forest and massive pillar-like rock formations. This has led Fluvan culture to develop mostly in isolation, though in the past century trade routes have been established.
The Fluvans, as a people, place high value in the arts, and generally despise and discourage conflict. They are famous for their wine, especially that made of a variety of grape known as asanui, or 'black diamonds'. Asanui grapes are grown in thermal caves, which are kept a closely-guarded secret.
