Anjon

Hidden in the mundane

The hills of Anjon are one of the less remarkable regions of Avignon, situated between sea, mountains and more vaulable regions like the Royal Lands. Anjon simply does not stand as a valuble land, with the only real points of interest, the cities of Saint-Quill and Roupellier being on the edge of the region. Other than these cities, the region is simply a place for those to travel through from or to Telfalas, however one might find the coast route a somewhat beautiful area.
Henry Norwick, Travellers Guide to Evantian, Press of Wien, Wien, 1705.

Geography

The hills of Anjon are a largely featureless series of hills that make up the coastline of the Fordalia Sea in Avignon, the only real interesting parts are the passes that make up the road networks through Anjon. Fresh water can be located in the hills, but generally most in the region are on the fringe areas, and the further into the hills the less sources are found.

Fauna & Flora

In terms of flora and fauna, the hills of Anjon share much with the regions around it, lush life blooms on the edge by the waterways, while plantlife faulters and animals reign in the hills themselves. While similar to Brentiny, the region is less wilderness and animal life, as human interaction is much more common in the region due to it's central location.

Natural Resources

Anjon is rather light on resources in all areas, with water, farmland, timber and grazing land all scarce. This has limited growth anywhere that isn't the fringe areas, however minerals and stone are still common enough for a small economy in the region, however this promotes more colonial like settlement than actual towns or cities.
