Description

You enchant a door such that it may be magically connected to other doors upon which you have cast this spell. When the spell is cast, you choose a command word for the door, as well as the connections for this door. An entangled door may be connected to as many applicable doors as are in range. You may have a number of doors enchanted such up to one for every two caster levels. If you have already reached this limit and cast the spell on a new door, you must choose one previously registered door to erase from your network or the spell fails. Two doors may only be connected to each other if they are roughly the same in size. For example, a door suited for a large creature could not be connected to a door suited for a medium creature.   Once the spell is cast, any creature who utters the command word of a destination door and turns the handle causes the doors to become entangled until the door is shut. Creatures who walk through the door while it is actively entangled are instantly teleported to the destination door as if they were the same door. If a target door is locked with a lock of Average quality or lower, the lock unlocks for the duration of the connection, then locks again once the door is closed. If an arcane lock is placed on a door, it can only be opened by the caster of the arcane lock.   For the sake of this spell, a door is considered to be a door of any material, with a hinge, a knob or some other way to open the door, and a frame. Without any of these things, or if any of these components are destroyed, the enchantment on the door is lost. However, if the door is moved wholesale, the enchantment remains intact. If the door is moved such that it is out of range of any connected doors, those connections break.
