Iron Falls
Iron Falls is a large city in the west of The Vesperin Empire, and is well-known as the empire's military headquarters.
Government
Much like the physical layout of the city, the government of Iron Falls is split between civilian and military jurisdictions. The mayor's office controls the civilian half of the city, however the military base is technically its own independent entity, and is governed by the presiding general.
Industry & Trade
Iron Falls is well known for its mining industry, and is the largest mining city in the empire. The city itself takes its name from the numerous iron deposits in the canyons and hills around it that brought miners here long ago and precipitated the city's founding.
Geography
Iron Falls is located in a relatively dry and canyonous region of the empire. Though the Camella River begins near the city and flows through it, the land around is relatively arid. Fortunately, there is enough water for agriculture to the north and east of the city, as the land is grassy and fertile there.
