Benefits

You may use your spellcasting ability modifier in place of Strength or Dexterity when making melee or ranged attacks as part of a spell effect or to make a touch attack to deliver a touch spell. This does not apply to effects in which you do not personally make the attack (such as Spritual Weapon), or spells which have prescribed attack bonuses.

Normal

You must add your Strength modifier to melee attacks and Dexterity to ranged attacks as part of spell effects.
