Aasimar
Often considered the blessed ones amongst those unknowing of the world, the Aasimar are the descendants of those with ties to the Divine Planes. Often bearing a resemblance or feature of their ancestor such as an unnatural skin tone, starkly burning eyes, or even lacking a shadow. These divinely fueled individuals are drawn to adventure through seeking the glory of the divine or perhaps driven to the darkness of the Low Planes to sever links with their heritage.

Anatomy
Aasimar are generally physically similar to their parents but have additional bones to compensate for their wings. Some Aasimar, albeit rarely, can also accrue horns and the occasional tail.
Genetics and Reproduction
Aasimar reproduces through sexual reproduction. The gestation period is 9 months but will not necessarily output another Aasimar and instead produce either a mix of the parent races of the couple or one of the latter.
Growth Rate & Stages
Aasimar grow to maturity at 17 years and are considered elderly at age 120. They rarely live past 160 years.
Ecology and Habitats
In their rarity, Aasimar will typically find themselves amongst the general population, whether it be within a hamlet or city. Exceedingly rarely, some Aasimar will reside within the Divine Planes.
Dietary Needs and Habits
They have similar dietary needs as their humanoid parents.
Biological Cycle
Aasimar age similarly to their parent race, but begin to veer off the ageing process around the 30 year mark and slow down the signs of weathering skin and hair.
Additional Information
Facial characteristics
Aasimar are often well-defined in shape and stature, akin to a marble statue, but there are those who enjoy the many indulgences in life and can find themselves overweight for their kind. Whilst this overindulgence affects their outwardly appearance, it bears no effect on their physical prowess.
Geographic Origin and Distribution
Aasimar are often scattered across the world and rarely seen in a group of others like them.
Average Intelligence
Aasimar have a range of intellect correspondent to their levels of education, life experience, and general competence. This does not account for those who suffer head trauma or those with mental deficiencies.
Perception and Sensory Capabilities
Aasimar have the ability to see phenominally in the dark, as the burning light of the Divine pushes aside the shadows to grant them Dark Vision.

Naming Traditions
Aasimar are commonly born with a name they are given, chosen by the parents, and will usually choose a name to go by if, and when, they venture out into the wilds.
Beauty Ideals
Aasimar tend to have issues around other forms of deformity, mostly amongst their own race that have fallen from their mandates.
Gender Ideals
Aasimar will often conform to the gender ideals of the society around them, and as such can vary widely. Those in Kagarra often have a looser interpretation of gender compared to those in Novaria who see it as a set binary.
