One of the newest professions to come out of the hybridisation of the smithing and arcane trades. Close to an Artificer, the Arcanomechanic has mastered the intricacies of mechanical works and combining prosthesis with arcane potential.   So, when you find yourself missing a limb or in need of a loyal companion, look no further than the Arcanomechanics!

Career

Qualifications

You must have at least 7 years in either an enchanting job or working as a blacksmith in order to become officially recognised as an Arcanomechanic.   If you live in the Golden Valley of Elysia, you can become educated in mechanics and instantly join the official board of Arcanomechanics with a degree.

Career Progression

As under the Guild of Arcanomechanics, they have a progression through membership tenure and craftsmanship output. You start as an Initiate, then as Tinkerer, Artisan, then Master Crafter, and by chance become Guildmaster.

Payment & Reimbursement

Payment is generated by commission and special requests, and is set out by the individual Arcanomechanic.

Other Benefits

Arcanomechanics are credited for the advancement of robotics and their abilities to care for Warforged, who bear a unique anatomical make up and require an intrinsic knowledge to repair. The social reputation you gain from this profession is on par with that of clerics and paladins.

Purpose

The progress the new technological advancements in robotics and aerial craft, as well as perfecting prosthesis for amputees.

Social Status

They are perceived as an infant profession, but has recently gained traction amongst the younger generations for its appeal and progressive methodology.

Demographics

There are currently only 12 Arcanomechanics across the entirety of Urithian, of which is demographically split 50/50 in terms of biological sex.

History

There is not much history to the profession due to the recent creation of it. However, it was created in response to a need for more advanced and capable methods of transportation.

Tinker's Tools, Smith's Tools, Enchanting Equipment, and the optional use of Alchemist's Supplies.

Metallic alloys, alchemical components, and enchanting components

Workplace

Generally is outfitted with a steel desk, spotlight, and a tool box. An enchanters desk and mechanist's frame usually takes up some room to craft machines and enchanted metals.
