Fiend

Fiends, whether demon or devil or otherwise, come from the lower planes. Or the underplane, or hell, or whatever you'd prefer to call it.
Fiends thrive on the suffering of mortal souls- they exist to make mortals suffer. This is reflected in different ways: from Malka and Pahra feeding off mortal flaws, to incubi and succubi corrupting souls so that they will be condemned to hell forever and even more suffering can be caused...yay!

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

Many fiends possess truesight. Some kinds of incubi/succubi have a limited ability to see the souls of others, in particular what character flaws dominate them.

Naming Traditions

Will told the party that fiends have true names which, if discovered, can be used to summon them to the speaker. Most have a variety of other names they use in their day-to-day lives (hence Will not registering at first that 'Malka' was 'Koach.')

Major Language Groups and Dialects

Infernal (which sounds like crackling flames) and Abyssal (which pulls sound from the very air, with meaning being read in that absence.)
