Act 1 chapter 1; a loaded trap

After the party members receive a letter pinned too there door, signed by a close friend about "a big job that seems up your ally". The address of which is in Tantrus (small city but large town known for being relatively mundane except interesting people tend to pass through the town from now and then) leads them to a trap set by The protagonist Dr.Shoelitte.

Plot points/Scenes

Surrounded on all sides by guards (if there criminal background has been exposed it could be life in the dungeons or hanging). There are a total of 4 city guards who are just normal people with spears and no special powers all human, they attempt to arrest the PC's if they don't resist if they draw swords ,or run, one of the guards will blow a whistle to call Bruce and Franklin, they arrive when either the guards have been killed or the players have "escaped" or hidden.   Franklin uses to locate creature on all players or cast hold person DC 16 then for a turn its clear that Franklin is a very strong MAGE(Cr 6) after which Bruce makes an attack with his harpoon who Franklin uses his reaction to stop it casting shield, leading to this conversation. Franklin:"Alive you dim wit, The Doc was very clear about that"   Bruce: "sorry I'm not used to them being so soft" he proceeds to pull out a grappling hook and then taunts the players "we can maim them though right frank" Franklin: responds in a sinister tone "off course we can other wise it wouldn't be fun"   once it looks as if the players are getting away More dialog between Bruce and Franklin leads them to the plot Franklin "Doc isn't gonna pay us if they make it too Dandren, so Bruce open your eyes and use that thick head of yours"  Bruce "but I don't see them" Franklin know's there location unless he lost concentration and waits for them to move or until Bruce spots them too act. if he has lost concentration the players remain hidden and the bounty hunters move on to searching other areas. this repeats for either an in game hour or until they manage to make him lose concentration or they steal the two horses in-front of the inn 150ft south of the place where they where attacked.   The players will probably attempt to go to Dandren if I've done my job well if so end of act
