The diplomatic party of Kandel (a smaller country) has asked you to replace the king of Mevius (much larger country) as he grows more power hungry putting Kandel and all other smaller countries at risk. Hence you the finest hero's of the land the best spell-casters, diplomats, thieves and knights in all the land have been called into Serves not as a command but a plea from a scared nation. You play as a long standing hero with up to 5 magic items of up to very rare status, makes more sense if you're good aliened but in common one shot fashion it doesn't matter how much you fit into the world.

Plot points/Scenes

Quest received from the Council of Kandel, they given you the task and means necessary to replace the king of Mevius they specifie by any means necessary but they prefer minimal loss of life and a peaceful approach as they don't wish to start a war but prevent it. They advise you two use one of three methods though others are excepted; 1; assassinate the king placing someone Kandel can control , 2; change the kings mind away from war this can be done by focusing his attention on other parts of the country or making him permanently incapable of waging acts of war , 3; start a revelution in both the populous and the military and create a diplomatic state which they can ally them selves with. They mentioned a last resort which was whispered to the elected leader of the group which was 3 harrowing words "tear it down" when asking for clarification "the castle the capital the country nothing left but ash and dust."
getting there and learning about its people and the politics. this is the best time for them to learn as much as they can about the government and how to topple it and plan out what method they want to use to bring down Mevius. The part has been given a flock of griffins to ride two people can ride on one griffon but there is one spare in case they are lost, they are also given access to the treasury in which they can equip themselves. Crime rates are high in everywhere organised crime rings are built up in the capital and a vigilant group is fighting crime in the any government help. When it comes too food the people are doing well along with water as they have many underground springs but there a rumors of a plague spreading from town to town wiping out whole cities. its clear to see that the Country isn't doing so well and is unable to stage a war. in fact people may relies that only 2 years ago they accepted a peace treaty after a long war damaging both Mevius and Kandabar. if they come to the conclusion that what the Kandel government told them was a lie they may attempt to return and take Vengeance or find out the truth
The truth comes out, Kandel wants to start the war back up again between Mevius and Kandabar so they can continue to smuggle illigal trade with Kandabar without them retaliating using Mevius as a sacrificial puppet to grow there own power and become the new home to the human race that People look up too

Plan unfolds; they either kill the king start a rebellion fulled by hate for Kandabar or magic ect.. they execute there plan leaving the country to enter a war once more with Kandabar and they get the bad ending (if there is time we can play the Kandel vengance). all the information for killing the king is here King of Mevius and battle map on incarnate. extension; once a war is struck between mevius and kandabar as Kandel planned only a few days later then the party gets a letter from kandel of an ergant need of aid. Kandel askes the players to Level mevius to the ground win them the war, neither country can survive this war thats been started its up too the players to level the country so that a new land can be built with good values land split between gnomehign kandabar and fayden and Vandabar. the actial way to level Mevius is to destroy all building related to the gaurds so prisons keeps walls that kind of stuff either by hitting it very hard or killing all the crowns guards and city guards that don't surrender its a one party army . Kandel will show them there decleration of war the finnal fight will be the army of units so 100 of solders. a battalion is a 100 soldiers and there attack works like this roll straight for damage using a D100- AC- Number of hit points lost they have 100 hit points representing one unit they are vulnerable to AOE and act as a "swarm". they will attempt a surrender when 80% of the troops have died.
