Renglees undercity (black city)

General description: unlike the city above the under city is far more well run and sophisticated and a law being a stronger force with much harsher punishment. Although at the end of the day wealth sings many prays both above and below ground.   Hide away's (special hostels for those who don't want to be found scattered across the under-dark this service is to be purchased from the assassins guild and you shall be given a key and to a small house somewhere in the under city you can stay as long as you pay. Squatters are not considered threats but as pests to be exterminated)   The black temple. A impressive stronghold hidden under Renglees home to both the assassins guild and thieves guild 4 massive entrances allow "public" access to the guild any thievery or killing committed in the Black Temple is severely punished by the highly trained guards hired by the guilds. The bottom layers of the Temple are where you go to join guilds pick up bounties and jobs or try to get them taken down for low value bounties you can pay of the bounty for 1.1 times as much you are then put on a black list in which you cant be re added unless the bounties is twice as high as the first. This applies for assassinations ,and stealing or mugging jobs. Mid layers are offices finance and guild leader ship with the highest levels being the vault located underneath the bank of Renglees for added security. The current leader Romanov a female warlock with a arch-fay basically under her thumb, she charms and also fears the people into there place but there must always be order. The Arch fey in question is known as the lady of the lake.   The criminal guilds. The assassins guild and thieves guild tend not to get along but due to them both being incredibly rich and powerful they have come to work together the assassins will not kill the higher ups of the thieves guild and the thieves guild will not steal the wealth of the assassins.   The assassins, are a mixture of mercenaries, muscle or guns for higher and the occasional master of steal spy and killer. Unsanctioned killings of nobles and the wealthy or criminal leaders can lead to financial sanctions which if ignored are played for in blood or being sold into slavery too the local Drow. The assassins also encourage paying for protection as they guarantee no bounty can be placed bellow the money played in, despite this private bounties still arise which is not covered by protection. The assassins guild has also been known to use in protected citizens for testing new entries or peoples who protection has expired. For all there ideals and supposed morals and honor they run like most companies with money and public image as there main priority there a powerful enemy so it's best to be there ally.   Thieves guild runs quite similar with a few differences such as thieves insurance this ensures any if you are robbed of expensive possession the person who robbed you has to return the stolen possession and pay a "minor" repercussion and if the items have been fenced have to pay for reclamation as well and if you can't pay same goes as for the assassins guild pay with blood or sold to the Drow.   Drow. The Drow are simple travelers from the under-dark with a small station in the black city they do trade with some of the people selling buying slaves and bringing in poison and potion ingredients from the under dark to sell to the people of Renglees. A simple bunch with not much knowledge of common but speak good elvish.   The black bizarre. A large shopping area around the black temple where simple pickpocket are most common and stolen goods are sold and traded along with cursed items illegal drugs animals magic items ect any thing that you could imagine is sold there it's just a matter of time till you find it prices range massive from full on scam to genuinely good your ability to investigate will determine whether you get a good deal or not. I should make a separate article for items found in the black bizarre but as I said before if a player can think of it and look hard enough they can find it they may push there luck stay another hour searching but that increases the risk of having you coin purse stolen by a lot. (unrestricted and unregistered magic items, weapons, addictive potions and any thing else you want to find some of these things can be found in the bazaars back rooms and allies but down here there is plenty to choose from. Exotic creatures can also be found to buy but if your plan is to sell it's a bit harder as if you're not a guild member or a gang member you'll get muscled out but battering and trading happens common place.)   Necromancer splinter of the mage guild far more profitable and keeps the guild afloat they work from many places in the underground but they keep there treasure at there temple to the god myrkle, 40 ish necromancers with similar ideologies both travelling necromancers and people who live there.
