The exiled lizardfolk, now waring with the ratfolk of the Farbog, elect to raise up one of their own to become a god.
After their defeat, and near extinction in the Dragon Wars, and their constant waring against the ratfolk of the Farbog, the lizardfolk decide the only way to ensure their survival is to create a god of their own. Lizardfolk have the unique trait of being able to live, and grow, as long as they have the food to sustain themselves. Thus, as long as they could feed and sustain one, he could live forever as a god for the lizardfolk.
