Claluerle Tierdre, a priest of Eized, traveled throughout the Gagnan Empire, preaching against the empires cruelty, claiming it to be against the will of the gods.   Declared a heretic and traitor, Tierdre was ceremoniously exacuted, however, his followers continued to spread his teachings.

After his death his followers continued to spread his word, leading to a wide spread conversion away from Gouled to Eized, and many tribute this to why Eized was elected to become the leader of the pantheon when Gouled was dethroned with the fall of the Gagnan Empire.   His death also marked the beginning of the Tierdren Calendar used in much of the northern nations.
