Lady Azaranthi Sonoderi

Lady Azaranthi is third in a direct line of Seats of the House of Sonoderi. Her father, Lord Eumanan, was made famous for successfully brokering the peace that his own father, Lord Amalorn, destroyed between the Houses of Sonoderi and Mytheran. In celebration of Azaranthi's birth, Lord Eumanan made an unprecedented change to the Laws of Sorcery, allowing minor offenders to live in incarceration rather than be executed. As Seat, Lady Azarathi continued this reputation for benevolence, thus raising the common popularity of the Temples of the Eith and the Houses of Descendants.
The position of Seat of the House of the Descendants of Sonoderi was passed to her at the age of twenty-five while her father still lived, which remains unusual. During her forty-one year rule, Lady Azaranthi implemented many changes to the Laws surrounding sorcery, the governance of Rammarvijk, and the Palace Of Heaven. She remains the most influential Seat since the Great Eith.
Lady Azaranthi gave birth to many children, however none survived to adulthood. After the death of her seventh child, she declared herself Mother to All and the last death sentences, relating to sorcery alone, were abolished.
She doted especially upon her nephew, Warian and personally tutored him in diplomacy, and sorcery. When he showed potential for great power, she named him Zetzwarian's Effigy. She saw him marry and father a son. When Warian was 29, she stepped down as Seat and passed the position on to him. Upon Warian's death, five years later, there was talk of Azaranthi taking up the mantle once more, but she insisted that the Laws of Succession were clear. Instead, she placed said mantle on the shoulders of Warian's son, Fearian.
Her death took place three years later, making her the oldest to ever hold the Seat on record. In total she helped to raise two generations of sorcerers, and even saw the birth of the third generation. Reports say that she died in her sleep. There were no signs that it was caused by the Corruption so common in sorcerers.
