Week 1: Goals
This world ember I will be focusing on adding locations, characters, and history to the already existing world of Golarion. The content I add will be my own original content, using existing locations, and people as a base for new ideas. As this world is the world I am using in my personal campaign, the content I use should benefit and improve the existing setting for areas we are likely to visit or discover. I may also include artifacts, legends, and even adventures, depending on what hits me.
Week 2: Mini-Meta
Scope: Absalom and Station 7
Themes and Mood: Corruption vs Utopia, Good vs Evil, and the feeling that sometimes you need a bit of both, and that nobody is only one or the other.
Goals and Inspiration: To create relatable and complex characters and locations that fuse both sides of good vs evil together, with varying degrees of both.
Week 3: Homepage
I added an intro and brief description of my world on the homepage of my private world for my invited players.
Week 4: Last Minute Prep
For my last minute prep I made sure I was well stocked with soda and snacks, bought "So You Want to be a Gamemaster" by Justin Alexander, as well as a book with a ton of NPC ideas for inspiration. I've been browsing reddit threads for inspiration, and trying not to overstress myself before the big marathon. I want to try to write a bit everyday, but I burn out fast so I might do more on fewer days.
