Dragonturtle Hatchery

As the first light of the sun touches the beach, cheerful screams, laughter, and roars echo through the sleepy Prigka.
In the Harbor Town of the Rolfish tribe, there is a large building near the docks. This is the building of Prigka's Hatchery, where the Segaii brought up the eggs of the Tribe's protectors, the mighty Dragonturtles.
The Hatchery has three rooms: the Eggroom, the Stable, and the Pool. The first one is what the name is, a warm, sandy storage for the turtle eggs. The tribe's Hunters guard this room day and night. The second room is the nighttime pen for the young turtles. Their caregivers live with them here.
The Pool is open to the public. Every day the young turtles can meet the Segai cubs and hunters, play with them, and learn how to work with them in the ocean. This socialization is important, since from young adulthood these creatures are used by the tribe as guard animals, water-rescue units, and rafts for fishing and sailing goods to Vrikdarok.
The Pool is a large waterpark with slides, ramps, and swallow areas. It is fenced, but rarely guarded, since always busy. The tribe's cubs spend their days here, so it's a daycare for the young turtles and Segaii alike. They have swimming and diving practices, learn the important command words, and generally get to know each other. The Dragonturtles can live here from hatchling to 12 years old. Then they will be released into the ocean or be chosen as a companion.
When the tribe's chieftain names the new Hunters, they select a Dragonturtle companion from the Hatchery, one of the creatures they grew up with. If a Dragonturtle dies before its Hunter, the Segai may choose a young one too.
The caregivers in the hatchery are the most experienced, old Hunters of the tribe. They may not leave the shore of the Blackwater but know well those waters, every tide and current.
