Structure(Use Table) Purpose

Structure

The Queen's Court is has two levels essentially, The Masters and The Noble Families. It is perfectly reasonable for a member of the noble families to also be among The Masters. The Masters are the Maulbian version of a parliament and advisors rolled into one.

Master/Mistress of Arms

This position is currently held by Braxtik Wildreach. This role deals with all things military both magical and non magical. This Master is incredibly busy ensuring that the Maulbian Army is at the correct capacity, each soldier has the allotted equipment, ensuring the barracks are fully stocked with armour and weaponry and much much more.

Master/Mistress of Industry

This position is currently held by Yevyn Fizzlepatch. This role deals with everything from the industrial sector. Yevyn will ensure that the factories run smooth, the mines, blacksmiths, farmers, etc are all cared for and producing good for the country. Without this role, the Mistress/Master of Commerce would struggle in their role.

Master/Mistress of Commerce

This position is currently held by Anna Brevingham. Not only is Mrs Brevingham the matriarch of the Brevingham noble house but also deals with all things trade and finances in Maulbia. She ensures that all trade routes through Maulbia are moving along nicely (with the aid of the Master/Mistress of Arms), all trade agreements are adhered to and that the country is well financed.

Master/Mistress of Law

This position is currently held by Josephine Lochburn. Another matriarch of the nobility that holds a high seat in the Queen's Court. Her role is exactly what it says on the tin. She deals with everything judicial. From ensuring all crimes from petty to high stakes have their punishments and ensuring these punishments befit the crime as dictated to by royal decree. She also works very closely with Braxtik to ensure that the guards he trains are well equipped with judicial knowledge to fulfill their role

Master/Mistress of Religion

This position is currently held by Kishan Lochburn. Kishan is the son of Josephine and handles all things religion. His role can be very complex but at the heart of it he must ensure that all religions in Maulbia are catered for and kept safe. Royal decree dictates that no royal subject should be prosectuted, harrassed or discriminated against due to religion, Kishan's job is to enforce this. As a devout follower of Atnaf, The Defender he is well suited to this role

Master/Mistress of Lore and Education

This position is currently held by Thelin Oakencloud. As the youngest son of Lord Oakencloud, Thelin has certainly made his mark on the world. Being from an industrial family that has made bountiful contributions to Maulbia. Thelin set out in a different direction to prove that an Oakencloud can be more than a good blacksmith but also pass that knowledge forward. His role is ensuring that any research discoveries are kept recorded and enuring that education is available to all not just children.

Master/Mistress of Spies

This position is currently held by Tiffany Naharan. Tiffany's role is to keep well trained espionage agents and keep intel on targets set out by the queen. Being someone not from a noble background but rather hired by the queen herself after Tiffany tried to burgle the palace, she has made it her mission to ensure that the spies she trains and employees are the best of the best but also donate to those less fortunate, as she once was. Most of the people in her employee come from similar backgrounds to herself and happily agree to this. 

Master/Mistress of Arts

This position is currently held by Samuel Rothwood. He is the epitome of the arts, a very flamboyant individual that makes any interaction an entertaining show, his role is to ensure that all things cultural are displayed throughout Maulbia. This does not extend to just Maulbian culture but also that from their neighbours and lands from futher away.
