Dido Syndel (DIE-doh Sihn-Dehl)
Dido Syndel was 28 when The Beagle II launched, 3 years out of graduate school with her Master's in Xenobiology. The Miranda native does not strike most Europans as a scientist.
Dido is very expressive with her appearance, as are most Mirandans. She has a green frohawk, and likes to embroider little designs on all of her lab coats, which kind of makes them not look like lab coats anymore because she gets carried away.
Like most citizens of the solar system, she was genetically engineered, and like most Mirandans, her parents picked a quirk in her appearance. Her and her twin sister, Doda, each have one black eye, one gold, but on opposite sides than each other.
Dido loves her family, but they've become estranged lately due to Doda stealing a lot of Dido's style ideas to further her career in fashion. Her parents don't understand why Dido is mad especially since Dido isn't even in a creative career, the fact of which, already created tension between her and her parents.
Dido is sweet, caring, optimistic to the point of naivete, and just really excitable about the scientific aspects of life. She values all life dearly.
She's a very affectionate and excitable person to the point whenever her and Skye are in the same room, everyone assumes they're together. They are not. Dido's just a hugger.
