Personal history
Born to a human mother, Cross grew up in a small village known as Shadowtop, due to its proximity to the Shadowtop cathedral. Such villages near the capital of elvenkind are full of half elves, but few are ever able to move up. He found an affinity to nature and proved to be a remarkable athlete. At 16 he joined the wardens and worked day and nigh to prove himself. In the decades since he has proven to be a valuable addition to the orgnization and has gained the respect of his elven colleagues, even if he hasn't seen the kind of advancement he should have.
