Marlis Khisto is an elderly gnomish woman who is a member of the Sunrise Lodge in Drynna. Her and Pauvron Va Bardo were investigating the Moon Mistress after many deaths pointed towards her as the culprit. The Party broke into her house at the request of Hareth Va Bardo to find encriminating evidence on her but instead learned that she was trying to find out the truth, the same as them.
