Castle Lorelei
Castle Lorelei is the home of the Lorelei family. It is located in the Dwendalian Empire on the edges of the Cyrengreen Forest , about a day's journey from Deastok .It has been home to the Lorelei family for many generations.
Castle Lorelei is built on a tall hill at the edge of the Cyrengreen Forest. Within the castle walls is a large courtyard, around which are many low buildings: the chapel, the kitchens, the meeting hall, the stables, and the keep. The keep and the guard towers surrounding the castle's walls are three stories tall; the other buildings have only one floor.
Keep
The tallest building in the castle is the keep. Inside on the first floor is a great hall with a hearth. There is staircase that leads to a the second floor, on which is Haldur's study and the bed chambers of the Lorelei family, which form a ring around the vestibule below.
Against the outer walls of the castle to the left of the keep, the family built a chapel dedicated to Sehanine, the Moonweaver. When the Lorelei children arrived, its pews were pushed aside, and various dismembered corpses of castle attendants were piled up on the floor.
Cemetery
The cemetery is a half-mile away from the back of the castle. It is the resting place for the castle's servants and contains the Lorelei family mausoleum. The mausoleum was built into a naturally formed underground cave system, which has been partially walled off.
