The Knight and Shield

You make your way through the town of Nogvurot until you come to a watering hole, which is called The Knight and Shield, a somewhat cramped shabby daub watering hole with a black tiled roof that the locals know best for its huge fireplace.
The Tavern
The Knight and Shield is a little cramped. The slightly grubby watering hole has narrow corridors, and seating is up against the wall, making the barmaids have to constantly contend with tripping hazards. The legs of all the tables in tavern are shaped like bulls It's almost just you and the bartender in here. Who else is here?
The Bar
Behind the counter is who you would assume to be the bartender, a light tan skinned average sized human who is currently sharpening a knife. You walk up to the bar, and strike up conversation with the woman, who introduces herself as Aemy Shaw, the owner of The Knight and Shield.

Tavern Entertainment

A snake charmer is set up in one corner of the tavern playing a flute with a wicker basket in front of him. There is a black mamba in the basket dancing to the snake charmer's tune.

Aemy Shaw

Aemy Shaw is an elderly female human. She is average sized and lean, and has pale blue eyes with light tan skin. The most notable physical trait of Aemy is that she has a sharply angled face.

Aemy is incredibly gullible. She is When she is relaxed, she is outspoken. In moments of stress, she becomes belligerent.
Despite sexism against her, Aemy is mildly successful as a bartender, with a background of being a noble. She belongs to the peasantry social class.
