Esormaj Everring is an acolyte of Bahumet. He was raised by his mothers who are heroes of the realm. He lives to be the hero they are and more to bring honor to their names and to the family.

Personal history

Esormaj was found by Lady Kima and her wife Allura Vysoren. His parents were kills in the mines of Kraghammer in an accident no one will speak of. Esormaj was a young dwarf when this happened. Kima and Allura decided to raise him as their own as there was something unique about this young boy with silver hair and blue eyes. Allura believed he had a destiny in the magical arts, but Kima believed he was a scion of Bahamut himself. When Kima and Allura went their separate ways to bring peace to the world, Esormaj followed Kima. He never was drawn to magic but looked up more to Kima and strength and conviction she held. He idolized Kima and wanted to be the great warrior and Paladin that she was. As he grew Kima saw that he channeled the mysical powers of Bahumut, and his true path was to go to the Temple of the Silver Dragon. Esormaj, wanting to be a warrior, was hesitant but trusted his mother and idol. He excelled in the temple, but felt confined and trapped in the temple. His world was bigger than the temple. The elder clerics saw this. He remembered the stories of his mother. In particular her adventures into the Underdark and the alliances she had made with Vox Machina. Esormaj knew that although he may be a vessel for Bahamut, he was meant to go into the world and bring peace rather than pray his nights away in the temple. Soon he found himself traveling the country, working to build the reputation as a warrior of good that his mothers had done!

Morality & Philosophy

I idolize mothers, and constantly refer to their deeds and example. I see omens in every event and action. Bahumet tries to speak to us, we just need to listen.

I have issues with others that are not accepting of other races and traditions. At the same time I am very hypocritical and damning of people from the Underdark as I remember the atrocities they have done in the past, including the death of his birth parents and the torture of his adoptive mother, Lady Kima.
