Verstglade

The Verstglade is a valley hidden within the southern end of the Ashkeeper Peaks.
Verstglade is hidden within the tallest peaks of the Ashkeepers. There, a blighted forest of leafless trees grows, and undead abominations stalk the woods.

History

During the Age of Arcanum, the lich Vecna constructed a laboratory hidden by illusions within the Verstglade. He used the region as a testing ground for his arcane and necromantic experiments. He was banished before his creations there could be released, and his aspirations for godhood left his plots for Verstglade forgotten.
