Personal history

Kel grew up in Byroden with his parents and his little sister Elaina until he was around 10 years old. His mother and father decided to split and in turn the children were separated. Kel sent with his father to Saltmarsh, Elaina staying with their mother in Byroden.
They still saw each other, but grew up apart. Elaina becoming a beautiful seamstress and Kel growing up learning to sail and eventually joining the guard in Saltmarsh. They speak often through letters and Kel tries to make his way back to Byroden sometimes, but the trip is long and his work is demanding, and he has not been back in years.
He met Shen Nailo, a half-elven ranger, while training for the gaurd. He and Shen were paired together, and eventually became good friends. Both rose in ranks and are now among the most trusted in the Marsh Sheild.
