The bearer can use a bonus action to cause the item to shed bright light in a 10-foot radius and dim light for an additional 10 feet, or to extinguish the light.

Painful

The bearer experiences a harmless flash of pain when using the item. This pain feels as if their wing is being burnt.

History

This blade was in fact fashioned for Xalicas herself. She wielded it in the wars of the Calamity, using it to strike down many a hated foe and fiend. Angelwing was given to Hyperion by his mother. She got it from Xalicas herself and has wielded it for many years when she adventured, before Hyperion.
