Scion of Ash

Surtur, the Scion of Ash, is an elemental titan prince and member of the Elemental Scions. A towering mountain of sharp stone and blinding fog, commanding waves of tremors and wielding a massive club of radiant amethyst. He led his army of dust hulks, earth elementals, smoke mephits, and gargoyles. His wrath was trained on Kraghammer and Fort Daxio, carving new peaks onto the Cliffkeep Mountains as his hoardes tunneled to war.
Leading the first incursion into the Material Plane, Surtur directly attacked the defenses of Fort Daxio after rapidly disabling Kraghammer by demolishing any existing exit from their underground city. His forces locked down the armies of the Republic of Tal'Dorei by forcing them into a siege, baiting any roaming reinforcements into leaving the rest of the realm undefended.
After the fall of the Scion of Storms, Surtur was overwhelmed by a precise flanking attack by the newly formed People of Tal'Dorei army, the freed Peakclimber Knights of Kraghammer, and the remaining forces of the Daxio Outriders. This maneuver, historically referred to as the Trident Strike, defeated the titan and sundered his forces.
