The Myriad

The Myriad is a much more mysterious criminal organization than its primary Tal'Dorei competitor, The Clasp. Originally from the continent of Wildmount, journalists estimate that the Myriad began their Tal'Dorei expansion approximately 20 years ago. The leading theory is that the Myriad decided to take advantage of the chaos following the Elemental Scions invasion of Tal'Dorei, preying on the struggling political infrastructures and defenseless people that were displaced in the years to follow.
While the Myriad has done a tremendous job keeping their secrecy a top priority, it is clear that the Clasp has identified them as their greatest threat, as the two organizations have spilled blood in most major cities across TalDorei. These days, the bloodshed has subsided into a cold war of espionage and counterespionage, as each organization tries to sabotage the other without triggering the involvement of law enforcement.
Overall, not much is known about the Myriad's goals, structure, or history. Only one thing is clear: the Myriad is here to stay.
