While traversing the great Cyrios Massif, we spotted, sailing across the the ravines and treetops, humanoid figures, sailing on the winds with wings like birds - an incredible sight! Our guide told us a story of the mystical A'racocra, a species of bird-humans created by the Wild Mother that sail the skies effortlessly in these regions.

T he legends say that Aarakocra were created by Melora, the Wild Mother as storm herders who drive the clouds across the sky, a combination of bird and human exceedingly rare in the humanoid regions of Wildemount. Many people across Wildemount consider the winged aarakocra to be a myth, so infrequently do they descend from their lofty aeries to deal with wingless folk. Where they are known, the aarakocra rarely engage with the land-bound societies of Wildemount, though some take great pleasure in traveling on the open ocean with Concord sailors and Revelry pirates.
