Manakete

Manakete are the children of dragons, they come in varying sizes and live a widely varying amount of time that depends on the race of the non draconic parent. Manakete, like dragonborn come in many different colors, the colors show in their tail and wings, as well as their hair. On birth they are given a scale of their draconic parent imbedded in a special type of mineral called a dragonstone, Manakete use dragonstones to take their draconic forms.

Darkvision: Due to your draconic ancestry you can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.
Age: Manakete can live anywhere from 800 to a nearly indeterminate age depending on the non draconic parent's age
Size: Manakete are usually between the size of dragonborn and the size of their non draconic parent.


Draconic Features:
Manakete have wings and a tail which they are able to use their dragonstone to hide these features when digression is needed. They have a fly speed of 40 feet when their wings are not hidden.
Draconic Ancestry. You have draconic ancestry. Choose one type of dragon from the Draconic Ancestry table. Your breath weapon and damage resistance are determined by the dragon type, as shown in the table.

Breath Weapon. You can use your action to exhale destructive energy. Your draconic ancestry determines the size, shape, and damage type of the exhalation. When you use your breath weapon, each creature in the area of the exhalation must make a saving throw, the type of which is determined by your draconic ancestry. The DC for this saving throw equals 8 + your Constitution modifier + your proficiency bonus. A creature takes 2d6 damage on a failed save, and half as much damage on a successful one. The damage increases to 3d6 at 6th level, 4d6 at 11th level, and 5d6 at 16th level.
After you use your breath weapon, you can't use it again until you complete a short or long rest.
Damage Resistance. You have resistance to the damage type associated with your draconic ancestry.
Draconic form. As an action a Manakete can call upon the power in their dragonstone to completely take the form of their dragon ancestors. The power of this form depends on their level. 1-6 They take the form of a Wyrmling, 7-11 Young, 12-16 Adult, 17+ ancient. This form can last up to an hour, you can take this form as many times a day as half your proficiency modifier rounded up. After Reversing form you take one level of exhaustion as the draconic power takes a toll on your body and mind.

Manakete have been around nearly as long as mortals and dragons have coexisted, and use the dragonstones to keep themselves from being feral and to keep their natural instincts at bay.
