Raisen Institute Libarian Hidden Guards
Within the Libary of the Raisen Institute are housed some of the most secretive and valuable documents in the world of Exflora. These are housed in both public and private rooms and, for some of the documents, they are even housed in secret rooms, with very little access allowed. These Secret Rooms are Hidden with their existence only known to a handful of Libarians and Guards. This is both for the document's protection and for the protection of that dangerous knowledge.
The Secrets Rooms are hidden behind secret doors, imaginary Walls, Invisible floors and within buildings with no addresses or entryways. Several are also hidden in plain sight as that is often the most effective security.
The security team who guard these rooms are Not dressed in any uniform but wear subtle signs on their person to indicate that they are in the Librarian Hidden Guards Regiment. Some of the Librarians are also part of this Hidden Guard Regiment to interact with the other librarians and the public more freely.
The Regiment is known for its use of hidden weapons and deadly force in their protection of the most valuable documents in the Library. Their history goes back to the very founding of the Institute about 2,500 years ago and has become one of the Legions of the Institute. Nobody knows how many people are employed by the Librarian Hidden Guard Regiment but every few years some roomers are released noting there are thousands of guards protecting the library to discourage anyone who may be thinking of robbing the library of their treasures.
The last known attempt to break into the Raisen Institute was in 14980 when a group or agents from Anzob tried to remove a document they believed belonged to themselves. In that event, 5 Anzob agents were killed.
With all the secret rooms, invisible walls, and buildings with no entrances, these guys must have impeccable memories. Do they go through special training to develop said memory skills? I'm also curious if they have a special retirement plan for when their memories start to fail. Or is it rare that one lives that long?
