Sacred Cliff Top Village

The sacred village of Clif Top is to be found in Adra and has a long history of offering refuge to the needy.
The Fort was a historical fortress for a noble family of the region but in _/.^/)-I 14767 the fortress was given over to the Saints of the Mountain who have run the Fortress and surrounding township as a religious order and sacred retreat since then. This has also brought prosperity to the community as many people travel on these religious retreats, bringing a consistent injection of new money to the area. 
In times of war or instability, the Town of Cliff Top takes on a very important role offering asylum to anyone who makes it into their walls and with the Military government now in power with Adra this is more important than ever. The City only works as a refuge city because of the strong moral integrity of the "Saints of the Mountain" who take the protection of all life as their core ethos in their religious order and will stand up to any pushback, whether from the military or the central government. This gives the "Saints of the Mountain" an excellent image to the general public who wholeheartedly support their actions. 
The last challenge there was this refugee status was 3 years ago when a regional general mounted a threat to the central government that ultimately failed and after that he fled to Cliff Top, reaching the town just 1 hour before the chasing military. He was allowed to stay in the village and is not believed to have left there since that date. The Village is also known for its sales of religious novelties to the many religious pilgrims who visit the town to look at the Sacred Cliff Top Fort.
