Samar River

The Samar River originates in the Western region of Maritsa Oaglari from the central highlands, as distinct from the Bulhenian Mountains which most of the rivers in the region originated from. This means that the flow of the river is less variable and a little less strong than the other rivers in the area as there is less snow runoff in the spring. Overall this makes the river more navigable for the local residents assisting in river trade and commerce.
