Somazine Passage
The Somazine Passage is a fast-flowing ocean channel that links the Aethiopia Sea and the Odrysae Ocean. Interestingly the directional flow of the water in the Somazine Passage is often the reverse of the water on the Eastern side of the island of Somazine. This has the effect of creating a gigantic whirlpool flowing around the island either clockwise or anti-clockwise depending on the season. The dangerous water-crossing over the Summer and Winter seasons have the effect of isolating the island of Somazine over these periods creating a need for self-sufficiency.
The Countries on the shoreline of the Passage are: Mirande , Coaldwell , Kuyuwiniland , and West Somazine .
