Tinama Shinobi
The Tinama Shinobi caught the attention of the world after its release in a world of bombastic, bullet filled fights between Duelists who fought over who had the most firepower. This light Exocore earned a name for itself as a giant killer, a machine that could slip in, dismantle the core parts of a machine and slip out. Within three months of releasing the Shinobi pilot Yami-5 (now Yami-9) took the World Championship spot and held it for 5 years, in that time only having lost 4 Cores. This all added together to make the Shinobi one of the most popular Exocores of recent history.
Its simple design philosophy shows why, unlike other companies this stealth Core doens't use fancy cloaking technologies or complex hologram illusion the Shinobi moves fast, gives off few signatures and can get out of the line of fire in a pinch. Its tools and weapons follow the same design, basic but practical and designed for exactly whats needed. The Heiwa Blades were speculated for a long time to bear some secret internal technology, some hidden energy field or disruption technology. After considerable research Tinama themselves revealed the secret isn't in the blade but the targeting technology, the Shinobi Core can analyse even custom Cores on the fly and discover the weakest areas of armor that can be exploited.
The Cores tools are another matter entirely, IR electric smoke, explosive kunai and incendiary grenades make up the rest of the Cores arsenal, though these are often used more for subterfuge and escape than offense. The issue with the tools of the Shinobi, however, are due to its overwhelming popularity many Duelists could easily catch on to the subterfuge and tactics used and counter them. It is because of this that the Shinobi model is rarely used in competitions between Duelists besides those that have a true knack for tactics and stealth.
After the decline of its sales a new model was released based on the Shinobi design but focused more on direct, one-on-one combat. This new model lacked its predecessors stealth capacity in favor of direct martial combat. What should have been a dueling Core however was instead sold to the open warfare market, meaning many owners of this new Core walked into a match expecting to be met honorably only to be torn down in a hale of bullets, the few units capable of honorable melee duels with the White Shinobi found its capacity to be lacking and a few good hits with heavier melee weapons or even fists could wreck the Core with little effort, because of this the Mk.2 is a show piece, no longer sold on the market.
Power Generation
The Shinobi operates off a modified battery, heavy insulation and modified mounting make the batteries output and connected systems difficult to detect, that alongside the Shinobi's custom casing means electrosense is ineffective.
Weapons & Armament
The Shinobi's tools are hidden amongst its frame and casing, meaning nothing is immediately obvious upon looking at it. Within the end of its scabbard multiple smoke bombs are hidden, allowing for easy activation simply by hitting the end of the scabbard against a solid object. The Kunai and grenades are stored along the arms, allowing for instant release when needed without any threat of loss or theft. This design does mean that the Shinobi runs off a limited number of tools and must be something a good Pilot considers at all times.
Communication Tools & Systems
Utilizing an encrypted radio channel the Shinobi primarily uses a one way radio frequency, meaning that communications on site are difficult if not impossible to compromise. The Shinobi can tune into a second frequency for itself, though this is optional and if enabled is undetectable.
Sensors
Standard audio and visual sensors
Hangars & docked vessels
Most commonly hidden in small transports a common trick is to keep the Shinobi amongst the storage vehicles of other, allied Cores, not only to provide protection to the vulnerable Core but also an impressive entrance upon a battlefield.
