Kadesh: City of Jewels - Season 1 Ep. 1 Session 1 - Destiny Calling
General Summary
In the early, rainy morning of the 25th of Ilpes, Year 436, PA V, three adventurers made their way as individuals to the docks of the shanty town of Alvani, on the northern coast of the Lith'Dolvi Conclave. There these individuals met with a man by the name of Mirt Gilander, the self-proclaimed "greatest smuggler", so that he may smuggle them into the wonderous city of Kadesh. Having heard many tales of the fame and fortune one was able to find their, they each nonetheless had their own reasons for making this journey. Though, all of them we trying to escape, in some way.
Thus, as they boarded the ship as individuals, they could never have suspected that this act would led to the start of their greatest adventure.
After eight days sailing across Quevar's Bay, on the night of the 3rd of Affic, Mirt small boat known as the Merryweather, approached the infamous blockade. For you see, for the past 100 years or so, Kadesh has been put on lockdown. While the outside world has made many tales and fables on why this is the case, the truth is much more depressing than the tales these new adventurer's may have heard.
Mirt Instructed the party to stay down in the hull of the ship whilst he talk his way through the blockade, presenting "official" documents stating he could enter. After they passed, Aeolus emerged from below the deck just in time to see, a man in full Samurai armor, standing on at the helm of the flagship of the blockade, looking back at her.
The the sun rose, the three smuggled passengers got their first glance at Kadesh, AKA the City of Jewels. It was called this, due to how the sun refracted on the rooftops of the city making it seem as though the roofs were encrusted with the most precious of stones.
However, the trip did not go entirely as planned, for a few hours later, as they made their may to the drop off point, a beach on the outskirts of the city wall, Arsenius noticed something moving in the water. Upon asking Mirt about this, visible panic flooded his face. Before anyone could act, three fish people - the adventurers later would find out are called Sahuagin - jumped on broad and began their assault. The party managed to slay the beasts, but Mirt had lost control of the wheel and thus, was unable to stop the boat in time before it crashed into the sand of the beach. Throwing everyone on board off the deck, knocking them all unconscious.

Aeolus, Arsenius, and Eirkoris started their journey together and got to know eachother a little. They also hired Mirt and got to know a bit about the "famous" smuggler.
